Founded in 2008, we provide imaginative theatre training for young people aged 4 to 21 years
JK Theatre Arts is a well established youth theatre company that has built up an enviable reputation over the last 13 years. We pride ourselves on our commitment to young people, providing a high quality creative provision that strives to empower individuals whilst embracing the community that theatre encourages.

Kim is superb with the children
The girls have been going to JK Theatre Arts for approximately 18 months and have already performed in 4 shows. The classes really engage them, and they have grown in confidence. I like the fact they learn a range of disciplines, including dance and drama. Kim is superb with the children, both in her commitment and enthusiasm. They also communicate well with the parents so we are kept up to date with everything thats going on.
Highlight of Joshua's week!
Joshua is quite theatrical in character and so really enjoys his time at JK Theatre Arts as it gives him an opportunity to express himself. The teachers are great fun and provide reassurance and support to all the students. As the school is quite small in comparison to some, the staff know the children individually and this leads to a warm, family atmosphere. Going to JK Theatre Arts is the highlight of Joshua's week!

Thank you so much for this evenings class with Josh it was amazing to watch I couldn't get Josh to dance at a wedding with me a month ago so to watch him today just blew me away and he loved every minute of it.
Encouraging
My son has really enjoyed his year at JK. He sings with new confidence and was surprised to find that he liked the dance/movement component of the classes. The staff are friendly and encouraging and they give the older students opportunities to develop their leadership as well as their performance skills.

Felix had a great time stretching his imagination and developing his physically skills. The singing, dancing and story telling often came out around the house and clearly entertained Felix even outside the lessons. This was a class that he has always been happy and willing to attend. I think he was particularly comfortable with Kim, who was a great teacher, inspiring and leading the children.
Really, very many thanks. We are having a break while Felix settles into school but we will definitely be back for summer courses, and with my daughter attending too.
