Total rip off cowboys, akin to cash converters. I took an as new boxed with papers and receipts scope in, less than a year old. £379. They offered £90. Avoid this shop, it's profiteering and insulting.
Useless, dangerous, and dishonest!
Purchased an air rifle for vermin control a few months ago, part exchanging a previous rifle purchased from them a little earlier in the year as it as inaccurate. Asked to dry fire the rifle I was interested in and asked if it was new or second-hand. They told me it was new and unloaded but as I'm ex-military I checked, and it had a pellet in the breach! After putting around 50 shots through it and getting a lot of inconsistent results I borrowed a friend's dyno and found it varied from 8 ft lb to just under 11.5 ft lb over 10 shots (using the same pellets). Customer service, safety and product knowledge as well as basic ethics/honesty (the rifle and scope were clearly used and not new!) are not available at this shop. Will not be shopping here again and have disposed of the rifle as I would rather throw it away than take £70 for a £258 package. Useless, dangerous, and dishonest!
