EVENING ARGUS. Sat July 10th..... www.theargs.co.uk Search: 'attack of the starlings'Reports of a severe starling roost in some ivy, approx 1000 birds. The build up of guano in the garden was incredible.Using the distress call of the starling, with Scarecrow Bioacoustics, the flock of birds were disperesed and have not been back since. The householder had called Clean Dimensionsions, to investigate the problem . PIGEONS in Christmas Tree Lights

I had a call from someone who had been up in their loft to get out the Christmas Tree ornamants and lights. WHAT a SURPRISE when they found pigeons nesting in the loft. The insulation was covered in guano. A slipped tile had allowed them to get in. Luckily for them there was only one pair of birds. If it had not been noticed for sometime there could have been a big problem. BIRD FEEDING: It is good to feed the birds in your garden, but please be aware of the problems you might be bringing upon yourself and your neighbours, especially with gulls and pigeons Only use small bird feeders. DO NOT put out stale bread, as this is very unhealthy for the birds.BIRDS DO NOT UNDERSTAND CREDIT CRUNCH!! Pigeons and gulls will carry on nesting and messing on buildings.
