Claire Scott - Insight Counselling

I am an experienced, fully qualified counsellor working in private practice in Church Road in Hove, BN3 and in Brighton. I use an integrative approach, using my psychodynamic training along with CBT and other approaches where appropriate. The sessions are client led - you bring what you wish to the session and we work collaboratively to help you with your problems. I offer you kindness, acceptance, empathy, understanding, warmth and humour too. The relationship between the client and therapist is the key to progress and making changes and this needs to work for you.

I have lots of experience of working with individuals who undergo many kinds of difficulties: including anxiety and depression, low self-esteem, bereavement and loss, relationship issues, separation, divorce, menopause, infertility, feelings of loneliness, low mood, stress and drug and alcohol dependency.

I work with people from all walks of life in a way that respects culture, values, beliefs, choices and sexual orientation.
